Welcome to Militant Netherlands, the quarterly magazine of the BOSS.

Strijdend Nederland or Militant Netherlands
, this name dates from the Second World War and is based on the regular announcement of Radio Orange from London preceded by the impressive first notes of Beethoven's fifth symphony and followed by:

'Here Radio Orange, the voice of Militant Netherlands'.

Militant Netherlands became the magazine voice of the fighting part of the Internal Military Forces: the Stoottroepen.
The first publication was issued on December 2, 1944.
